Last year, Monique Lhuillier centered her fall 2024 collection around her namesake brand’s new London flagship, offering subtle takes on elegant English dress. This year, she has returned to the States for inspiration, first with her Palm Beach, Fla.-inspired spring 2025 lineup and now, her fall 2025 collection inspired by the glamour and grand architecture of New York City.
“Returning to New York City for this collection felt like a full-circle moment, taking me back to where I first began showcasing my designs,” Lhuillier told WWD, noting that she specifically drew inspiration from the city’s timeless Art Deco elegance, “vibrant energy and sophistication” from day to night.

A gunmetal sequin evening gown with more than 1,000 bugle bead embellishments recalled the grandeur of the Chrysler building, while rich, draped and sculpted velvet numbers leaned into moody, nighttime glamour.
Throughout the lineup, there was no lack of drama or femininity, with crystal and bow details across sweet knit daywear and dresses, or raffia metallic feather embroideries on voluminous and curve-hugging gowns for gala nights on the town.
For the next morning perhaps, a cream pointelle knit mock-neck sweater and matching pencil skirt worn with high leather boots looked especially New York savvy.
